The question that I am asked most often, from clients and friends is: Where do you shop?
The answer is, everywhere. I shop at chain stores, boutiques and online, yes online. I started online shopping a few years ago and have tried most of the different sites. The problem with shopping online for clothing and shoes, is that sizes do vary and it can be very difficult to judge the actual colour and quality of the fabric. So it is vital to find a site that does returns and refunds. Service is key.
One site that I find to be a step above the rest, is Superbalist.com
Firstly their fashion and homeware is on trend and definitely different, which I love. Then they have some great additional features to assist you with your shopping experience.
The first one is their Waitlist. Online shopping is very frustrating when you find an item that you love, but the size is sold out. Superbalist has a Waitlist. You merely click on the waitlist and they will try to order the size for you. They send you you an email once they have obtained your item and you can then purchase it. Superb!
The second one is the Fit Finder. This feature assists you in finding the correct size, based on your measurements and the sizes of other brands that you have previously purchased. I have purchased a pair of jeans like this and I must say I was very skeptical, but the jeans fitted me perfectly. Obviously it is not 100 percent accurate, but it is one of the best features I have discovered. Superb!
Superbalist’s client service is also exceptional and they definitely go beyond the norm to assist their clients. They also have great discounts and sales, so definitely sign up for their updates.
Maybe it is the child in me that loves opening boxes, but online shopping can be so much fun and very convenient. Trying on items in the comfort of your own home with the rest of your wardrobe is a bonus and being able to return them without any hassle, if the items do not work, is the cherry on top.
